When
I was a kid, we used to call people who were, uh,
less-than-
graceful, especially around breakable things, "a bull
in a china shop."
Plus, when we did
line dances in gym class, the students who were a far cry from
Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers were said to have "two left
feet."
And the ones who
just randomly walked into walls, bumped into desks or tripped
over their own feet?
Klutz!
But here's
something surprising for all you klutzes out there.
There is a growing
number of people literally stumbling through life thinking they
are a klutz when really something else is to blame...
Gluten.
Here's the scoop:
Not for your
gut only
Although most
people associate gluten sensitivity with gastrointestinal
symptoms (like abdominal pain, gas, bloating, constipation,
diarrhea and heartburn), that's just the tip of the
iceberg as far as gluten's wrath goes.
According to the Center for Peripheral Neuropathy, before gluten-related
gastrointestinal symptoms appear, neurological damage may be
underway or already be done!
Plus, the Gluten Free Society calls gluten a "potential neurotoxin"
(meaning it can literally be a poison to your brain and nervous
system).
Here is just a partial list of the neurological symptoms that
are commonly associated with gluten sensitivity:
1)
Ataxia (loss of muscle coordination)
This can manifest itself as jerky hand movements, slurred
speech, difficulty walking, and even drooling and unfocused
vision.
2)
Unexplained dizziness
3)
Numbness in the hands and feet
4)
Migraines or tension headaches
5)
ADD & ADHD
6) Seizures
Why is
this gluten problem growing?
The question most
people have is: Why are we now experiencing SO many
gluten-related health problems, when even a few decades ago you
barely even heard of gluten?
The answer is
simple: Gluten problems have gone through the roof because
the AMOUNT of gluten we're eating (compared to 60 years ago) has
gone through the roof.
The wheat harvested today has 90% MORE (nearly double) the
gluten of wheat from 100 years ago.
Plus, practically ALL processed foods contain gluten (it's a
convenient, cheap thickener), and our consumption of those foods
has exploded over the last 60 years. And our bodies are
simply not biologically designed to handle that much gluten!
So it should be no
mystery that so many people are getting sick.
Why do
so few people know they are gluten sensitive?
It's
because gluten-related health problems disguise themselves as
many other diseases with different names. And the medical
community hasn't caught up yet...doctors don't usually test for
gluten sensitivity when you go to them with physical symptoms --
even though they routinely should.
In addition to the
neurological and GI problems I mentioned above, conditions that
can be caused or worsened by eating gluten also include osteoporosis, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), IBS, anemia,
cancer, fatigue, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, multiple
sclerosis, and almost all other autoimmune diseases.
Compounding this
problem is the fact that, since gluten sensitivity can wear so
many masks, it's difficult to pinpoint.
Doctors frequently
misdiagnose it, so that usually means they suggest the wrong
remedy (prescription drugs), and don't suggest the right remedy
(a gluten-free diet).
So the
gluten-sensitive person endures living hell and their health
goes increasingly downhill -- even though the solution is so
simple.
Klutz or
not, what should you do?
Whether you're a
klutz or experience some of the other problems I mentioned
above, it's time to honestly examine whether gluten can be
affecting YOUR life.
And if you think
it is, (or if you want to avoid any gluten-related problems in
the future), I can help make a tremendous difference by giving
you the guidance you need.
There are two very important steps you can take to minimize
gluten's effect on you and help restore a strong state of
health:
1) Remove gluten from your diet
First and
foremost, it can make a tremendous difference to remove gluten
from your diet.
The studies prove
it:
A study published
in the Journal of Neurology, Neurosurgery, and Psychiatry
in September 2003 found that participants with ataxia
who followed a gluten-free diet showed dramatic improvement in
ataxia symptoms and had significantly fewer antigliadin
antibodies, or "anti-gluten" antibodies, after just one year.
Now, if going
gluten free sounds daunting to you, don't worry about a thing.
Because Great
Taste No Gluten has ALL the answers and guidance you need.
In the Great
Taste No Gluten manuals, you'll learn about the many faces
of gluten sensitivity, how to test for a gluten problem and all the facts you'll need when deciding to live a gluten
free lifestyle, including shopping lists and hints for creating
a gluten free household.
And the recipe
book is chock full of 160 of the most mouth-watering, delectable
gluten-free recipes. Wait until you taste the breads, cookies
and cakes--you'll swear they're fresh from your local bakery!
And you won't be sick afterwards.
2) Restore your flora balance
Gluten sensitivity
and its resulting effects on your intestinal tract can also
upset your flora balance, giving harmful bacteria the "upper
hand."
Not only does this
cause a weakened immune system, but since your flora help digest
certain foods, it can mean even MORE gut misery!
But Super Shield multi-strain probiotic formula can help you
easily and naturally restore your intestinal flora to the more
ideal 85/15 (good vs. bad) balance recommended by health
experts.
Super Shield's 13
strains of quality, potent friendly bacteria are eager to
line your intestinal walls, crowd out the harmful bacteria,
strengthen your gut wall, sharpen your immune system, help keep
digestion smooth and enhance nutrient absorption (which is a
common concern for gluten sensitive people).
And that means you can start feeling a whole lot better...FAST.

Face the
facts
Let's face the
facts here--the gluten in our food supply is not going to go
away any. In fact, it's likely to increase.
And if you've been
suffering from health problems that medications have not been
able to help, it's time to ask yourself if gluten may be the
issue.
Then do something
about it.
See the difference it can make and how much better you can feel
with Great
Taste No Gluten and Super Shield
To your health,
Sherry Brescia
PS: Kimberly and her husband feel young again!
Sherry -
I have MS. For the past two years I have experienced stomach and
digestion issues, which kept increasing.
Three doctors recommended removing my gallbladder. After
researching the ramifications, and trusting my own instinct, I
decided against the operation and immediately cut my fat intake.
This helped my stomach issues but affected my mental cognition
and mental clarity significantly.
Through my continued Internet research, I found your website and
studied it carefully. I decided to purchase your "Great
Taste No Gluten"
program. (I went the gluten-free route based upon the suggested
link of gluten to autoimmune diseases.)
My husband has committed to doing this with me. Our energy has
increased. The weight Ioss has been wonderful and we love the
new lifestyle. We feel young again!
Last night I prepared the curried eggplant with chick peas and
spinach. Divine!
I look forward to every email that you send. You are one sharp,
dedicated lady.
Thank you, Sherry.
Kimberly
